Behind the Lens

 

Hi! I'm Sarah Doremus: wife, mommy, and owner and photographer for Doormouse Photography.

 

Doormouse Photography is based out of the Peoria, Illinois area and specializes in newborn, maternity, and portrait photography. While my work is primarily focused in Central Illinois and parts of Northern Illinois, I am always open to travel beyond the immediate locale!

 

I love to shoot in natural light both indoors and out because natural light, if used correctly, showcases eyes and features most strikingly!  My favorite moment during a photoshoot is when everyone involved is having so much fun, they forget to be "nervous;" there's nothing better than capturing real-life moments of laughter and joy, stopping those moments in time to enjoy for years to come!
